The Difrax Pacifier Dental grows with the development of your child and is available in the following ages:

• Newborn
• 0 to 6 months
• 6 to 12 months
• 12 to 18 months
• 18+ months

With each subsequent age, both the butterfly-shaped shield and the silicone sucking part become larger. In addition, the teat gradually becomes fuller and firmer, so that it fits well with your child's growing mouth and increasing sucking power.

What is the difference between Natural, Dental and Dynamic?

All Difrax pacifiers have the recognizable butterfly-shaped shield that keeps the nose free. The difference is in the shape of the suction part.

• Natural: Has a symmetrical shape with a flat base and a round, oval end. Because both sides are the same, it does not matter how the pacifier sits in the mouth.
• Dental: Has an orthodontic shape with a flat bottom and a convex top. The flat part rests on the tongue and provides extra grip while sucking, while the convex part supports the palate. As a result, the Dental pacifier contributes to the natural development of the tongue, jaw and palate muscles.
• Dynamic: Features a flexible, multi-layered silicone sucking part that moves with your baby's natural sucking rhythm and mimics the movement of the mother's nipple.

Every baby is different and has its own preference. That is why all variants are available in multiple ages, colors and designs.

Frequently asked questions

Clean the pacifier before first use by boiling it for a maximum of 3 minutes. You can also sterilize the pacifier in the microwave with the Difrax Sterilizing Egg or clean it in the dishwasher on the top rack. Check the pacifier for damage before each use and replace it immediately if you see cracks, weak spots or other damage.

With daily use, we recommend replacing the pacifier every 6 weeks. In addition, check the pacifier regularly by gently pulling on the silicone suction part. Replace the pacifier immediately if it is damaged.

Yes. After boiling or sterilization, some water may remain in the silicone suction part. This is normal and does not pose a health risk. First let the pacifier cool down and then press the silicone suction part firmly against the shield a few times. The excess water drains out of the teat via the valve at the back. Any condensation or small water droplets that remain are harmless.

Is your child teething and is the pacifier bitten a lot? Then we recommend using a Difrax teething ring. A teething ring has been specially developed for safe biting and helps to cool and soften sensitive gums. Check a frequently used pacifier carefully for damage.

Usage advice

• Before first use, clean the pacifier by boiling it for a maximum of 3 minutes, sterilizing it or placing it in the dishwasher on the top rack.
• Before each use, check the pacifier for damage or weak spots and gently pull on the silicone suction part.
• Only use an undamaged pacifier.
• Replace the pacifier with daily use every 6 weeks or sooner if it is damaged.
• Do not use a pacifier as a teething ring. When teething, we recommend a Difrax teething ring.
